Shaykh al-Albani (rahimahullah):So aspire, O Muslim, to know your Islaam from your Lord’s Book and your Prophet’s Sunnah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).And don’t say, ‘So and so said.’For verily, the Truth is not known by the men — nay! know the Truth, and you will recognize the men (who are upon it)![Shaykh al-Albani (rahimahullah), as-Saheehah, 5/350]

In the Qur'ān, the word "darkness" is used in a plural form, while the word "light" is singular.Ibn al-Qayyim said: This is from the miracles of the Qur'ān because there are many paths that lead to darkness, but only one leads to light.{بداية الفوائد ١/١٢٧}

‏اللهم أكفني شر الناس‏وأكفني شر الحُزن‏وأكفني شر الخُذلان‏وأمسح على قلبي ورُوحي برحمتك ‏حتى أرتاح يارب العالمينO Allāh, suffice me against the evil of people.Suffice me against the evil of grief.Suffice me against the pain of being let down.Wipe over my heart and soul with Your mercyuntil I find ease, O Lord of the worlds.

من تعلق بالله وعليه توكل ، لا ملّ ولا قلّ ولا ضّل ولا ذلّ ، اللهم أني وكلت أمري إليك كُلهِ.He who relies on Allah and entrusts his affairs to Him, free from arrogance, stinginess, misguidance, or humiliation. O Allah, I entrust all my affairs to You.

• ‏قال ابن القيم رحمه الله:‏القلب لا يطمئِنُّ إلاَّ بالإيمان واليقين، ولاسبيل إلى حصول الإيمان واليقـين إلاَّ من القرآن.The heart finds peace only throughfaith and certainty and these come only from the Qur’an.مدارج السالكين جـ٣/صـ٣٤٨

‏"آية الكرسي عند النوم مِن أسباب السلامة من السحر والشيطان".Ayat al-Kursi before sleepingis among the reasons for protection from witchcraft and the devils الشيخ ابن باز رحمه الله [نور على الدرب ٢٩٥/٣]

رَزَقنا اللّه تحقيق توحيده، وحسن الإيمان بتفرده ووحدانيته؛ إنه سميعٌ مجيبMay Allāh grant us true belief in His oneness,He is indeed All-Hearing, Responsive.

​« الْوَاجِبُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمَةِ أَنْ تَكُونَ مُؤَثِّرَةً وَأَلَّا تَتَأَثَّرَ بِغَيْرِهَا ، فَأُولَئِكَ أَتْبَاعُ كُلِّ نَاعِقٍ ، وَأَنْتِ دَاعِيَةٌ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ تُؤَثِّرِي عَلَى الْمُجْتَمَعِ وَلَا تَتَأَثَّرِي بِالْمُجْتَمَعِ. »— الشيخ مقبل الوادعي رحمه الله​​"It is mandatory upon a Muslim woman to be influential and not to be negatively influenced by others; for those [who are easily influenced] follow every caller.As a caller to Allah, you should influence society rather than let society influence you."— Shaykh Muqbil al-Wadi'i (may Allah have mercy on him)

-ولعَل ما بَينَك وَبَين مَطلُوبك هُو الدُعاء.Perhaps what stands between you and what you seek is 'Duaa'.

قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ العَزِيْزِ رَحِمَهُ الله:‏" إِنْ اسْتَطَعْتَ فَكُنْ عَالِمًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَكُنْ مُتَعَلِّمًا، وَإِن لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَأَحِبَّهُمْ، وَإِنْ لَمْ تُحِبَّهُمْ فَلَا تُبْغِضْهُمْ".‏📚 جَامِعُ بَيَانُ العِلْمِ وَفَضْلِهِج١ ص٣٥Omar bin Abdul Aziz, May Allāh have mercy on him said:“If you can, then be a scholar, if you cannot, then be a learner, and if you cannot, then love them, and if you do not love them, then do not hate them.”

Liberal Muslims

Mālik bin Dinar رحمه الله:Strange is the condition of the one who knows that death is (in) his destiny, the grave will be his abode, yet his eyes are cooled with the dunya? And his life is sweet in it?Then he wept[Sifatus Safwah 3/198]

﴿وَأَحْسِن كَمَا أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ﴾and do good as Allah has been good to you— Surat Qasas, 28:77

Avoiding sins and leaving what does not concern you illuminates the heart, for the heart is affected by what a person repeatedly does and focuses on. A beautiful reminder that it isn't just about "doing good", but equally about removing what is unnecessarily occupying your heart.

قُل لَّوْ أَنتُمْ تَمْلِكُونَ خَزَائِنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّي إِذًا لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْإِنفَاقِ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ قَتُورًاSay, "If you possessed the treasure of the Mercy of my Lord (wealth, money, provision, etc.), then you would surely hold back (from spending) for fear of (being exhausted), and man is ever miserly!"[Suratul Israa’, 17:100]

مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّبْرَأَهَا إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌNo calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (al-Lauh al-Mahfuz, the Preserved Register), before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah. لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍIn order that you may not be sad over matters that you fail to get, nor rejoice because of that which has been given to you. And Allah likes not prideful boasters.[Surah Hadid, 57:22-23]

{Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allāh says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allāh’s mercy, for Allāh certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”}- Sūraẗ al-ʾAʿlā; 39:53

Recite Qur’an linked with Receiving Guidance.{وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَ الْقُرْآنَ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُنذِرِينَ}And to recite the Qur’an, so whosoever receives guidance, receives it for the good of his ownself, and whosoever goes astray, say (to him): "I am only one of the warners”.[Surah an-Naml, 92]

One tasbīḥah (i.e., glorifying Aḷḷāh through ḏhikr) in Ramaḍān is better than a thousand tasbīḥāt outside of it. 📖 ʾIbn ʾAbiyy ad-Dunyā in Faḍāʾil Šhahr Ramaḍān #23.🗣 az-Zuhriyy – raḥimahuḷḷāh –سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ (SubḥānAḷḷāh)الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (al-Ḥamdu liḷḷāh)لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ (Lā ilāha illa Aḷḷāh)اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (Aḷḷāhu Akbar).
