Hadith On To abstain from begging & being patient Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri رضي الله عنه:Some Ansari persons asked for (something) from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he ﷺ gave them. They again asked him for (something) and he ﷺ again gave them. And then they asked him and he ﷺ gave them again till all that was with him finished. And then he (ﷺ) said: "If I had anything. I would not keep it away from you. (Remember) Whoever abstains from asking others, Allah will make him contented, and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And whoever remains patient, Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience."[Sahih al-Bukhari 1469]

al-Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ رضي الله عنه said:“There is nothing on earth more difficult than abandoning desires.”📖 - Ḥilyat al-Awliyāʾ

Virtues Of Reciting Surah Kahf On FridaysRasulullah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: “The person who recites Surah Kahf on Fridays, a nur will appear for him from below the arsh as high as the skies. This light will help him in the darkness of the day of resurrection . And all the sins which he may have committed from the last Friday till this Friday will be forgiven . ” (Sharh Sifrus-Sa’aadah)The ulama have written that this Hadith refers to minor sins because major sins are not forgiven without making taubah.

Sending Salat And Durood Upon Prophet ﷺ• The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Of your best days is Friday. On it Adam was created; and on it his (soul) was taken; and on it is the blowing (of the Trumpet); and on it is the Swoon. Therefore, increase in sending your Salat upon me, for your salat upon me are presented to me.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah! And how will our Salat upon you be presented to you after you have perished?” He replied: “Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has prohibited the earth from (destroying) the bodies of the Prophets.” [Narrated by Abu Dawud in his Sunan #1047, Ibn Khuzaimah #1733 and Ibn Hibban #910 in their respective Saheehs, and Hakim in Mustadrak 1/278 He said, It is authentic on the conditions of Bukhari and Zahabi agreed.]• Based on this Imam Shafe’e used to say, “I love to send plenty of salat upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) all the time and I love it more so on the day of Jumuah.” [Kitabul Umm 1/546]• Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ عَلَيَّ صَلَاةًThe closest of the people to me on the Day of Resurrection are those who most often invoked blessings upon me.Source: Sunan At-Tirmidhi 484, Grade: Hasan🌼🍃اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، 🌼🍃اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيد🌸🍂

قال الحافظ الذهبي رحمه الله: لعنَ اللهُ الذَّكَاءَ بِلَا إِيمَانٍ، وَرَضِيَ اللهُ عَنِ الْبَلَادَةِ مَعَ التَّقْوَى.[سير أعلام النبلاء]Imām Adh-Dhahabī says:Allāh curses intelligence that is not [accompanied] with Īmān, and Allāh is pleased with dullness (lack of intelligence) that is [accompanied] with Taqwā.Note that Imām Adh-Dhahabī here is not talking about intelligence and dullness in and of themselves, but rather that intelligence that is conditioned with the absence of Īmān, and that dullness that is properly composed with Taqwā.How many individuals do we see today know all of the big words and all of the fancy concepts, yet have no shred of humility or humbleness within them? How many individuals do we see today looking down on others and mocking them and trying to act smarter than everyone, more intelligent than everyone, better than everyone, simply because they know a few things here and there - a difficult word or two, a fancy concept or idea, the belief of some niche academic - yet their Adab is worse than that of wild animals?And how many individuals do we see who may not be the sharpest tools in the shed, who may not know all the cool-sounding concepts, who may not know about this particular philosopher or that particular politician, yet the humility we see from them is as bright as the stars?اللهم ألحقنا بالصالحين!

Ḥakīm al-Ummah, Allama Ashraf Ali Thanawi al-Hanafi (رحمه الله), mentions in his book Jazāʾ al-Aʿmāl that among the harmful effects of sins is that they lead to weakness of the heart and body. He says:“Sin becomes a cause of weakness in both the heart and the body. The weakness of the heart is quite evident, because the heart gradually loses its longing and enthusiasm for righteous deeds, until this desire may disappear completely.As for physical weakness, it is also connected to the heart. Therefore, when the heart becomes weak, the body too becomes weak.Have you not seen that the disbelievers of Persia and Rome were physically strong and possessed great stature and strength? Yet, despite this, they were unable to stand against the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (رضي الله عنهم) in battle…!”
