SAPAC MEMORANDUM TO DBE - 5 OCTOBER 2025

SCHOOL VACCINATIONS POLICY SAPAC OFFICIAL SUBMISSION TO DBENO RESPONSE AFTER 5 MONTHSOn 5 October 2025, SAPAC submitted the following memorandum to the Department of Basic Education (DBE) on behalf of parents opposed to Regulation 14.It incorporates a variety of legal, constitutional, medical, and epidemiological grounds for opposing the proposed regulations, and represents the most comprehensive and objective refutation to date.Despite requesting acknowledgment of the memorandum and feedback from the DBE in that regard, SAPAC has yet to receive any further correspondence.It would appear that the proposed policy has, at least for the time being, been put on ice.However, we urge parents to remain vigilant and not be complacent. Future attempts to force vaccination on public school attendees and circumvent our rights as parents to make informed decisions regarding our children's health are inevitable, but SAPAC and our members will be ready to challenge such attempts as soon as they surface.
