Dear friends, greetings! ๐ฉท Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop for a moment.
In the middle of deadlines, lectures, and endless tasks, give yourself permission to breathe - even if it is just for an hour. A short pause is not a waste of time.
๐ฉท Take care of yourself this week.๐

Dear friends, greetings! ๐ It is time for another
#RUDNReads posts with a writer who rose from poverty to become the most famous Soviet author - a man whose life was as dramatic as his novels. Today, we are talking about
Maxim Gorky.
๐Gorky wrote about the people he came from - not from a distance, but from experience. He knew poverty, wandering, and the struggle for survival.
And he turned that knowledge into literature that still feels raw, honest, and alive. โจ

Dear friends, greetings! ๐ While one team was welcoming guests from China at RUDN,
another group of our colleagues has already started work in Mongolia.๐ โ๏ธOn October 16 and 17, RUDN took part in the "Songolt โ 2026" Russian Education Exhibition in Ulaanbaatar. Together with 15 other universities from different regions of Russia, we presented our academic programs to Mongolian applicants, explained admission requirements, and gave future students a real taste of what student life at RUDN looks like.
This was another chance to meet talented young people
who might soon call RUDN their home.โจ

Dear friends, greetings! ๐ Last week, RUDN welcomed a delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania - and with it, ten of the country's brightest students.๐ โ๏ธThey have arrived under the Samia Scholarship Extended program, a presidential talent initiative that selects the best applicants in Tanzania and supports studies in STEM fields, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. Seven will study Mathematics and Computer Science, three will focus on Applied Informatics.โก๏ธThis partnership is a direct result of the visit of President Samia Suluhu Hassan to RUDN in summer 2026. Following that visit, RUDN became an official partner of the Samia Scholarship.โ๏ธDaniel Elias Mushi, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Science at Tanzania's Ministry of Education, shared that the "Samia" program selects only the best applicants in the country. He also mentioned a personal connection - as a RUDN student, he studied alongside Pindi Hazara Singh Chana, who today works at the Parliament of Tanzania and was awarded the Order of Friendship by the President of Russia. The delegation also met the new students who have just arrived. A moment that connects generations of RUDN graduates and the future they are building.โจ Welcome to RUDN.

Dear friends, greetings! ๐ We continue our Literature Mini-Series with a writer who reshaped the Russian literary language, invented a whole new style, and then spent the rest of his life writing the story of Russia itself. Today, we are talking about Nikolai Karamzin. ๐Karamzin changed the language, changed the way people wrote about feelings, and then changed how they understood their own history. He believed that literature could be tender and that history could be alive. And he was right on both counts.โจ#RUDNReads

Dear friends, greetings! ๐ฉท Welcome back to #RUDN_AroundRussia ! Today, we are heading to a town just outside Moscow that feels like a quiet page from history - a place of ancient ramparts, whiteโstone monasteries, and a park that once was a birch grove. Welcome to Dmitrov.๐ฉทHow to get there from Moscow:๐ฉท By train: From Moscow to Dmitrov - about 1.5 hours.๐ฉท By car: Around 1.5 hours along the Dmitrovskoye Highway.
